I Was Sold Dirt Cheap, But My Power Level Is Off the Charts Releases 1st Volume on October 8


One Peace Books has announced that the first volume of the manga adaptation of I Was Sold Dirt Cheap, But My Power Level Is Off the Charts will be released on October 8, 2024. The manga is translated into English by Jamie Taber

The manga is based on the original light novel series, written by Ryoma and illustrated by Susumu Kuroi, with Cambria Bakuhatsu Tarou handling the manga art. It was first launched in Kadokawa Shoten’s Young Ace UP magazine on April 22, 2021. Six tankobon volumes have been released as of 2021.

The original light novels were first published by ASCII Media Works in 2021 under the Dengeki no Shin Bungei imprint. 

One Peace Books describes the synopsis of the series as: 

When Yuta’s entire class arrives in a fantasy world, they discover its dark truth: the only thing that matters is Ludea Rate. This objective number that determines one’s ability to operate the mega mechas that determine the fate of a world constantly at war. And our hero Yuta’s rate is a dismal 2. And yet Yuta just might have more hidden powers than any number reveals. Known for its intricate robot battles and epic fantasy scope, the series follows Yuta as he tries to live by kindness and justice in a world devoid of either.
