Key Celebrates 25 Years of Its Visual Novels in Special Anniversary Video


One Piece isn’t the only property that’s celebrating a 25 year anniversary. Visual Arts’ computer games brand Key is celebrating 25 years of iconic visual novels that began with the release of Kanon on June 4, 1999. 

Earlier this week, the company released a special commemorative video revisiting all the early designs and history of its visual novel and anime works. It also included a quick preview of Key’s next game anemoi

Key has also previously marked 25 years since the debut of its first game, Kanon, with a remastered 16-bit-styled opening of the visual novel for April Fool’s, as well as an upcoming English release on Steam
