A third season of the ongoing Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation TV anime series has been announced after the conclusion of the second season’s finale. More details on the premiere date will be revealed later on.
The third season’s production was confirmed in a short 15-second announcement video that was released today.
The anime’s second season aired in two split cours with 12 episodes each. The first cour broadcasted in Japan from July 3, 2023 to September 25, 2023, while the second cour aired from April 8, 2024 to July 1, 2024. The second cour featured the “Teleportation Labyrinth Arc” and was streamed on Crunchyroll worldwide, along with the previous seasons.
Ryosuke Shibuya (The Reincarnation of the Strongest Exorcist in Another World) directed the second season, with Toshiya Ono (returning) as series screenwriter, Sanae Shimada (returning) and Yoshiko Saito (returning) as character designers, Masakazu Miyake as art director, and Yoshiaki Fujisawa as music composer. Studio Bind was the animation production company.
Meanwhile, the anime’s main voice cast for the recent “Teleportation Labyrinth Arc” starred:

Mushoku Tensei began in 2012 as a Shosetsuka ni Naro web novel written by Rifujin na Magonote. It was then published as a series of light novels by Media Factory from January 24, 2014 to November 25, 2022, featuring new illustrations by Shirotaka. A total of 26 volumes were released.
The light novels inspired a manga adaptation by Yuka Fujikawa in 2014, as well as multiple spin-off series. A spin-off collection of short stories titled Mushoku Tensei: Redundant Reincarnation was launched in June 2023.
Seven Seas Entertainment releases the light novels and manga adaptation in English. It describes the light novel series as:
