Sentai Filmworks has opened pre-orders for a standard and limited edition steelbook version of its upcoming OSHI NO KO Blu-ray set.
The limited edition steelbook will be released on July 23, 2024 for a price of US$84.99. It also includes many behind-the-scenes content exploring OSHI NO KO’s pre-production, scenario, character design, production, drawing, compositing, voice recording, and soundtrack recording.
The standard edition, meanwhile, will be released on June 25, 2024 for a price of US$45.99. It will only include clean opening and ending credits (which are also included in the limited edition steelbook).
Sentai Filmworks is streaming OSHI NO KO on its HIDIVE service, which recently licensed the anime’s second season for its Summer 2024 simulcast schedule. The latter describes the main synopsis as:
When a pregnant young starlet appears in Gorou Amemiya’s countryside medical clinic, the doctor takes it upon himself to safely (and secretly) deliver Ai Hoshino’s child so she can make a scandal-free return to the stage. But no good deed goes unpunished, and on the eve of her delivery, he finds himself slain at the hands of Ai’s deluded stalker — and subsequently reborn as Ai’s child, Aquamarine Hoshino!
