Seven Seas Entertainment has announced the launch of an audiobook series based on the Berserk of Gluttony light novel series through its Siren imprint. The first audiobook volume will be released for the first time in English on August 22, 2024 and will be narrated by Dan Bittner.
The audiobook is based on the dark fantasy light novel series written by Ichika Isshiki and illustrated by fame. It began as a web novel on Shosetsuka ni Naro on January 24, 2017, before moving to Kakuyomu in 2022. Micro Magazine then published the light novels on November 30, 2017 under the GC Novels imprint. Eight volumes have been released as of October 2022.
A manga adaptation by Daisuke Takino was launched in Comic Ride magazine on March 1, 2018. Twelve tankobon volumes have been released as of July 2024.
The series inspired a 12-episode TV anime adaptation from A.C.G.T in 2023. Crunchyroll streamed the series worldwide, outside of Japan.
Seven Seas describes the synopsis of Berserk of Gluttony as:
Fate Graphite is one of the forsaken. Cursed with the skill “Gluttony,” he is ever starving, never sated…until the day he kills a dying thief and devours the man’s strength–and his soul. The true hunger of Fate’s Gluttony has awakened, and if he can learn to control his power, he will at last be the master of his own destiny.
Pre-orders for the audiobook are now available at Seven Seas Audiobooks official website.
