A TV anime adaptation of The Daily Life of a Middle-Aged Online Shopper in Another World light novel series has been announced and scheduled to premiere in 2025.
A new teaser visual and short 32-second trailer have been released for the series, which confirmed the casting of Junichi Suwabe as Ken’ichi.
The anime is based on the isekai light novel series, written by Hifumi Asakura and illustrated by Yamakawa. It was first published by SB Creative and Tugikuru Corporation’s Tugikuru Books imprint on May 10, 2018 and has released three volumes as of April 2019. It originally began as a web novel on Shosetsuka ni Naro from September 13, 2017 to June 24, 2021.
The light novels inspired a manga adaptation by Umiharu and ran in Square Enix’s Monthly GFantasy from April 18, 2019 to May 17, 2024. A total of seven tankobon volumes were released. Comikey licensed the manga for digital English release and is also currently on Square Enix’s Manga Up! service.
Manga Up! describes the synopsis of The Daily Life of a Middle-Aged Online Shopper in Another World as:
