A new PV trailer has been released for the upcoming The Most Notorious “Talker” Runs the World’s Greatest Clan TV anime series, which is set to premiere in Japan in October 2024.
The trailer (which is available with English subtitles) previews three new additional cast members joining the series, which consist of Takehito Koyasu as Finocchio Barzini, Shunsuke Sakuya as Brandon Stollen, and Yu Wakui as Noel.
They join a main voice cast that stars Daiki Yamashita as Noel Stollen, Yu Serizawa as Alma Judikhali, and Yosuke Omomo as Koga Tsukishima.
Yuta Takamura (Chained Soldier episode director) is directing the anime series, with Takayo Ikami (I Shall Survive Using Potions!) as series screenwriter, Kenji Terao (Goblin Slayer II sub-character designer and costume designer) as character designer and co-chief animation director, and Kenta Mimuro (My Master Has No Tail prop designer and main animator) as action animation director. FelixFlim and GA-CREW are handling the animation production for the series.
The Most Notorious “Talker” Runs the World’s Greatest Clan is based on the fantasy light novels written by jaki and illustrated by fame. It was first published by Overlap Bunko on June 25, 2020 and has released four volumes as of December 2021.
The series was originally published as a Shousetsuka ni Narou web novel from September 7, 2019 to July 25, 2020. A manga adaptation by Yamorichan began serialization on the Comic Gardo website on June 12, 2020.
Seven Seas Entertainment releases the light novel and manga adaptation in English, describing the synopsis as:
Noel longs to be a Seeker like his heroic grandfather, slaying the beasts that emerge from Abysses and exploring far-off lands. Unfortunately, it turns out he’s nothing but a measly Talker – a job with no combat skills whatsoever. Undaunted, Noel sets out to establish the strongest clan in all the land, using his silver-tongued Talker skills to unite assassins and heroes under his leadership.
