The popular Tomb Raider King web novel and manhwa webtoon series is receiving an animated series adaptation that will premiere in 2026. Original writer Sanji Jiksong (also known online as SAN.G) shared the announcement on his Twitter account shortly after the end of Anime Expo 2024.
Tomb Raider King is based on SAN.G’s original web novel, which was later adapted into a manhwa webtoon series by Yuns (REDICE STUDIO), featuring art by 3B2S.
It was published in physical book format by Bifrost, while Tapas Media released the series digitally from February 2021 to August 2023. Kakaopage serialized the webtoon from June 30, 2019 to March 27, 2023. The series concluded after 412 chapters.
Yen Press publishes the manhwa adaptation in English under its Ize Press imprint for release in North America.

Mysterious tombs appeared all over the world one day, each containing a relic which grants its owner supernatural abilities. Jooheon Suh is a tomb explorer, excavator, and raider. Betrayed by his employer, he’s about to die at the hands of a powerful new relic when he suddenly finds himself 15 years in the past, before any relics or tombs made their debut. Driven by feelings of revenge, how will Jooheon use his knowledge of the future to become the Tomb Raider King?
