Train to the End of the World Delays 12th Episode

The 12th episode of the Train to the End of the World original anime has been delayed from June 17 to June 24.

“Production circumstances” are cited as the reason for the episode’s delay. The update isn’t surprising given director Tsutomu Mizushima‘s past updates about the production’s progress — he tweeted about Episode 11’s completion on June 6 JST, just a few days before its premiere on June 10 JST.

Train to the End of the World started airing on April 1 JST and is streamed by Crunchyroll. Crunchyroll describes the zany series as:

In a seemingly ordinary rural town, something strange is happening to the residents. But Shizuru Chikura is more concerned for her missing friend. Determined to find her, Shizuru and three other girls board an abandoned train and travel to the outside world, unsure if they’ll make it back alive. As they venture toward the unknown, the question looms: What awaits them at the final stop?
