WWWave Corporation has announced that a TV anime adaptation of Yandere Dark Elf: She Chased Me All the Way From Another World! is in the works and will premiere sometime in 2025.
The anime will be produced under the company’s Deregula anime label. Further details on the adaptation were not revealed, but will be announced at a later date.
The anime adapts Nakanosora’s romantic comedy manga of the same name, which was first launched on Takeshobo’s Web Comic Gamma Plus service on September 17, 2021. Three tankobon volumes have been released as of September 2024.
Seven Seas Entertainment releases the manga under its Ghost Ship imprint, describing the main synopsis as:
Sunohara Hinata thought defeating the evil overlord and returning to high school in Japan marked the end of his otherworldly adventures. Now, Hinata must navigate the halls of high school while living with a magically jealous girlfriend who takes “school crush” to a whole new level. Join them as they tackle life’s unexpected twists in this exhilarating rom-com adventure!
WWWave Corporation first launched its Deregula anime label in June 2023 to begin producing anime adaptations of other companies’ works. It also owns the AnimeFesta programming block, which has aired several short anime series of manga from ComicFesta. Many of the series have aired both “broadcast” and uncensored “premium” versions, the latter of which are released online.
The company has released many of these anime titles in English on its Coolmic website. Coolmic also published many of the company’s manga titles in English
